We are all about a little bluegrass music and this party from Lisa at Step Brightly Creative Group got us right in the mood. Lisa styled this party for a little boy’s birthday. Since the grandfather was a professional banjo player and the birthday boy loves music, it seemed fitting to have a music-themed party. Flea market finds, a vintage quilt, and a petite size banjo were just some of the props that Lisa used. Sweet treats on the dessert table included s’mores, oatmeal raisin cookies, caramel apples, and cupcakes. ‘Simpler Time’ beer and Lemon Hooch was on hand for the adult music lovers. A rustic old-time photo booth captured guests in silly bandanas, cowboy hats and mustaches. This definitely reminds us of a simpler time! Scroll down for the vendor credits.

Love this.
We had a fantastic time designing the bits and pieces for this 2 year old birthday party. It is always fun to come up with boy-party-themes that are a bit out of the ordinary. Thank you Kelly Allison and Joellyn Tulipano-Huebner for your creativity. We are excited to be featured!
Cheers, Lisa Guillot of Step Brightly

This party is precious! I am about to have my little girl’s party and have everything to make the mason jars like y’all did, except the flowers. How did you do this? Thanks so much! Ashley

Hi Ashley, we used Martha Stewart sticky back flowers with buttons to make the wrap-around holders for the mason jars. We found them at our local Micheals. Hope that helps, and I hope that your little girls party if a blast!
