We’re just back from our blog-cation and this party has us reminiscing about our recent vacation on the beach. Jennifer from Honeycomb Events & Design styled this beach house dessert table to help celebrate a client’s 40th birthday. Jennifer was Inspired by the venue, which was a beautiful beach house on the cliffs overlooking Bodega Bay in northern California. The backdrop was crafted from three different lengths of wood shims arranged to look pieced together over time. She added a distressed shelf, an antique lantern, and mini naval pennant flags as well. Sweet treats on the dessert table included starfish cake pops, homemade ocean marshmallows with rope ties, seashell and seahorse lemon cupcakes, and shortbread bites sprinkled with sea salt. It was the highlight of the party……amazing work and a wonderful team. It was my birthday party and i have no words to express how happy I was with this set-up. The taste of the treats was outside of the world…. never eaten something so yummylicious……we know who is setting up the dessert table for all our parties for generations to come….
