This Moroccan Elephant themed submission was sent to us by Anne from UR Invited. She styled this for an expectant mom who has a baby boy on the way. The client wanted elephants to be in the theme so Anne decided on a teal and brown color palette and gave it a Moroccan twist. They started by creating a water color mother and baby elephant illustration with lace detailing. We’re seeing the use of watercolor lately so keep an eye on that trend! They used a water color and elephant design for the printables, invitations and cupcake toppers. Sweet treats on the dessert table included a beautiful ombre cake, macarons, cupcakes, and cake pops. We love how the cake plate that Anne used mimics the the doilies used as the backdrop.

Gorgeous! LOVE the Teal Blue and doilies backdrop!
Gorgeous! I’ve always loved watercolor painting. I even made watercolor invitations for my daughter’s Under the Sea Tea Party party (because I obviously couldn’t find those in any store!). Even for someone who is not much of a painter, you can create really gorgeous color washes.
oh I love the soft colours and how they are so striking yet simple.
I just love this color combination and detailsss..
I love it, beautiful colors and dessert table
So pretty – love water colour, especially the ombre cupcakes!
They did a great job on this lay-out. Just a comment that it should really be spelled as macaron, and not macaroons – which is a totally different dessert.
The cake is beautiful and I really like the use of the watercolor.
Great job!
Love this! What a beautiful color scheme. Love that gorgeous backdrop!
