Hoop Dreams Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

This basketball themed party was sent to us by Michelle from Catwalks and Baby Bumps, which she created for her son’s birthday. Since Michelle’s husband is a former basketball player and her son loves basketball, she designed a “Hoop Dreams” theme with a bold orange and blue color palette. We LOVE the clever basketball sneaker-tie party hats and the graphic hoop design on the placemats. The kid’s table was dressed up with a basketball court runner, and a sign that read “Can we have your autograph?” was displayed alongside  an authentic Spalding basketball for guests to leave warm birthday wishes. The petite players gained energy by munching on french toast and mini PB&J sandwiches. Sweet treats on the dessert table included rice krispie treats, basketball sugar cookies, oreo cupcakes, and basketball cake pops. Each guest left the party a winner with a personalized trophy and foam basketball. Great job! Scroll down to see the vendor credits.
