Springtime Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

This springtime dessert table was sent to us by Natty from Half Dozen Design in the UK. This party was a family affair with Natty’s 12 year old daughter taking the photography and Natty’s mother helping her pick out the fabrics for the table. Props included pearls, lace, and vintage tea sets. Natty made a two tiered ombre ruffle cake and beautiful rose cupcakes. Other sweet treats on the dessert table included Turkish Delight, apple bonbons, brownie bites, snowballs, decorated sugar cookies, mini Oreos dipped in chocolate, and mini Victoria sponges. What a beautiful job the family did creating this party together.

Sadly, Natty’s mother passed away shortly after this party took place. We would like to dedicate this post to her.

  • Hello Natty, as always, you create such divine-fabulous-beautiful dessert tables. Such elegant sweets. I love it all & WOW! Your 12 yr old daughter is a great photographer!! 🙂 Amazing pics. As for your Mom, I am so sorry to hear the sad news. I have lost my Mother when I was only 4 1/2 yrs old. I whispered a prayer for you, for your family and Mom. May Perpetual light shine upon the soul of your dearly beloved Mom & may she rest in peace.

For Amy, this is so sweet of you to dedicate this post especially for Natty’s Mom. It’s touching/very moving. Thank you for this wonderful post. 🙂
