Pajamas & Pancakes Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

How cute is this pajama party that was sent to us by Julie from Julie Marie Portraits? Her twin sister, Jennifer, styled this party for her daughter’s birthday while Julie took all of the photography. Chevron stripes and polka dots gave the table style and also gave Nicolle, from Libby Lane Press, inspiration to create the invitation. Lunch included pancakes, faux “bacon & eggs” chocolate and pretzels, cereal and fruit. We love the fruit loop and candy filled tulip centerpieces. Sweet treats included pajama cookies (cute!), fruit loop treats and cupcakes. Each guest took home a pair of pajama pants, a book and a chevron goody bag filled with treats. Great job! Hi again 🙂 the canisters holding the cereal and gumballs look like they’re plastic. Are they? Also, could you tell me where to find these canisters? I’ve been searching (The Container Store, Target, Macy’s, WalMart, Kohl’s, JCP, Cabelas, Tuppeware and Amazon) and can’t find any that look like this. The closest I’ve found is 2 gallon Anchor Hocking glass containers.

What a fun party theme! Love breakfast! So clever!

I think these look like the medium sized glass jars with glass lids from Wal-mart and/or Target. Tney are around $7-10 I think. They are probably anchor hocking. They are usually in the kitchenware section–storage canisters, paper towel holders, serving pieces… Hope that helps

  • Jennifer! It was wonderful to be a part of this party and timing worked out so well! I had an absolute blast putting the Pajama pants together and the pictures came out so stinkin’ cute! Thanks again for letting me be involved!
