This dessert table was sent to us by Vania at Canadian Hostess. To escape the long harsh Canadian winter, Vania decided to create a seaside atmosphere for her little sailor’s 3rd voyage. Her son loves boats so a nautical theme seemed fitting. The nautical details included a homemade ribbon lifesaver, a sailboat sweets bar, and favor boxes wrapped with sailing rope. Sweet treats included anchor vanilla cake pops, red velvet lifesaver cupcakes, a fantastic sailboat cake filled with lemon buttercream, and mascarpone strawberries. The favor boxes included a “go fish” game. Scroll down to “sea” the vendor credits.
Set sail with some more nautical themed parties here and here.

I love this table!
This table is adorable. Love the use of rope on the favor boxes. Very well done.
Thank you for your sweet comments, ladies. I am so happy and excited to have the opportunity to be featured on Amy’s blog.
Beautifully coordinated, I love the simplicity and space in the design – it represents the feeling you have when your at sea so well.
Where did you get the adorable navy colored boxes?
Thank you!
Jennifer, I got them from Michaels for a $1 each. I bought the nautical rope from a fabric store. Hope this helps.
I LOVE this! Where did you get the #3 and the adorable fish!
