How Time Flies Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We have been showing you transportation inspired parties this week. This airplane themed party was sent to us by Amanda of Red Wagon Events. She styled this party for her nephew’s first birthday and we think it soars! The theme was “How Time Flies”. The little passengers had four areas to go to: Check In, Jackson Airway’s First Class Lounge, In-flight dining, and a Baggage Collection. Amanda created a backdrop using a ticking blue sheet for the sky and hand cut card stock for white clouds and an airplane. Sweet treats included an orange mud cake by Cake-a-lishious, aeroplane jelly, up-in the-clouds marshmallows, buckle up strawberry sour straps, and vanilla bean cupcakes. The beverage cart contained milk bottles and apple raspberry cordials. On departure, little guests were directed to the baggage collection to pick up sweet treat suitcases filled with sweet shortbread planes, a personalized chocolate bar, and a selection of candy. Fly down to see the vendor credits.
