Charm School Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We’ve received a few Barbie parties over the past few years but this Charm School Barbie Party gave the theme a really fun twist. Andrea of Dolce Drive created this party for her daughter’s birthday. The theme was inspired by Barbie’s new movie Princess Charm School. Uniforms were made for the girls by Andrea and her mom. The girls were greeted and guided to the Charm School Spa where they were given manicures, up-dos and light make up. A teacher was hired for the party to teach the girls etiquette, poise, and to properly set the table. After the activities, the girls slipped on pink tulle skirts and graduated from Charm School with a tiara and a certificate during a coronation ceremony. The students snacked on Barbie sugar cookies, chocolate dipped oreos, cakepops, cupcakes and caramel chocolate covered apples (made by dad). Scroll down to see the vendor credits.

Best Birthday Buddies was hired to be the “teacher” for the party. Our role was to turn the “Charm School girls” into real princess and make it fun for them at he same time.

We started by making sashes with the girls with there names on them…
Then we taught the girls good manners in our “Etiquette Class”,
We taught good poister by teahing the girls to walk with bookes on our heads. And finally the girls were taught how to properly set the table.
After all the activities, the girls put on pink tutu skirts and proformed a dance for the moms (taught by the teacher as well).

they were then called up to a stage one by one as they graduated from Charm School with a tiara and a certificate during a coronation ceremony.

We had a great time every step of the way, from searching for the perfect costume, preparing the for all the fun activities and then acually puting them all together was lots of fun. Thank you Andrea from Dolce Drive for this opportunity to entertainertain the girls, your family and friends. And thanks to Amy Atlas for featuring the event on your blog!
