Vintage Candy Table Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Kids

Glenda from Dressy Designs sent us this pretty vintage candy buffet that she created for a wedding. Glenda shopped at vintage stores to find props for her client. The table was made by Glenda’s husband out of a door and four legs that they found in the vintage stores. They painted the door blue and then distressed and glazed it. The DIY “SWEETS” burlap sign added an old fashioned touch. We love the how the bright colors contrast against the burlap.  Sweet treats included a creative lollipop tree and old fashioned favorites such as wax bottles, taffy, rock candy, and candy buttons. Scroll down to see the vendor credits. Great job, Glenda.

  • Thank you Amy and Lisa for featuring this candy table. It was alot of fun to put together. Like I told Lisa in my email…it was so cute when kids came up to get some candy, alot of them had never seen some of this candy before. They had no idea what to do with the colored wax bottles! 🙂

  • Enchanting!
