Great Gatsby Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

I will never forget the first time I had to read “The Great Gatsby” for school. I could not put it down. Growing up in New York, there was something so exciting about seeing my city in the roaring 20’s through F. Scott Fitzgerald’s eyes. There is a lot of hoopla right now in Australia while they film the latest adaptation. This featured submission was sent to us by Monique from Darling Details. Inspired by the decadence of that era, she created a dessert table that would be perfect for everything from a wedding, birthday party or even a Halloween party. Black feathers, pearls, lace and mirrors gave the table a nostalgic vibe.  Sweet treats included macarons, cupcakes, cake pops and two cakes. Monique definitely captured the sophistication of that era. Great job! Scroll down below to see the vendor credits.
