Blast Off Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

54...3...21..Blast Off!  This party is every future astronaut’s dream. Debbie from Studio Cake in Australia created this party for her son’s 5th birthday. Her son is crazy about space and rockets so Debbie put together a space themed party. Sweet treats included a rocket shaped caramel mud cake, cupcakes, alien oreo cakepops (we love), gingerbread cookies and jellies all made by Studio Cake.  Debbie made astronaut survival kits so the lil astronauts were prepared for their space journey. This table was out of this universe!  Scroll down to see the vendor credits.

Check out this space party that I did for my son a few years ago, as well as these fun space themed DIY projects here and here.

  • I had my own astronaut party for my son. We had constellations on the walls made from white lights, his presents were wrapped like a robot and I made the chip dish have a Saturn ring. For complete photos please go to my party blog. creativeplayhouse@wordpress.com

Looks fantastic. I really like the colour scheme and some great ideas. A shame about the typo but a good reminder to check and recheck 🙂 My boys would love this party.

  • Wow this is out of this world adorable!

  • Thank you so much Amy for the feature, my son and I had such a great time styling his table. Heheh Allison, not everyone picked up on the typo!, I actually left it, as the survival kits were my son’s idea and he typed, and cut the labels for the goodie bags himself. 🙂
