This sweet mermaid table was sent to us by Debbie of Wants and Wishes. She created this party for her niece who has an obsession with mermaids at the moment. To capture the sea theme and make each guest feel as though they were a mermaid, Debbie cascaded seaweed and blue beads from the ceiling with glitter filled seaweed and plants. A large starfish served as the focal point on the table. Sweet treats included octopus marshmallow pops sitting on a bed of “sand”, seashell and pearl mini cupcakes, an ocean cake decorated with shimmering white chocolate shells and starfish. We adore the shark-infested goodie bags! Guests were also offered custom printed bubble bottles because no underwater adventure is complete without bubbles. Scroll down to see the vendor credits.

Hi Ann,
I made all the cakes myself. They were really easy because the frosting didn’t have to be perfect. I bought all my supplies from Gygi’s. I will be having tutorials on my blog about how to make the chocolates at wantsandwishesdesign.blogspot.com
