This colorful retro candy buffet was sent to us from Clionadh from The Sweet Treat Co. in Ireland. She was asked to create a 70′s style table for a photo shoot and used bright colors to set the tone. The movie Quadrophenia was a source of inspiration for the palette of yellows, blues, citrus orange & hot pink. Vinyl records were used for the bunting and also used under glass vessels. Colorful pop soda bottles and martini glasses were filled with fruit shaped bubblegum. The vinyl tablecloth was a 70′s inspired retro pattern that complemented the overall look. This definitely brightened up our inbox. Scroll down below to see the vendor credits.

Thanks so much Amy for sharing my display and the lovely comments from your readers. I purchased the soda bottles in a TK MAXX store here in Dublin. ( Kinda similar to a Target in the US but on a much much smaller scale)

I love this! When you’re trying to decorate in a 70′s theme it can get kind of tacky, but this looks really sophisticated, yet fun and bright!
