Valentine’s Day Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Valentine’s Day is approaching quickly and you can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day without sweets.  Well, you can, but what fun would that be? This Valentine’s Day dessert table was sent to us by Katie from Petite Social. Katie wanted to reuse her Christmas decorations and incorporated rustic branches, dark woods, browns, blushes, and deep red hues for her cookie decorating party. A branch display with hearts attached by a clothespin was a simple and creative centerpiece. Guests were given their own personalized cutting board and spatula and heart-shaped cookies to decorate. Frosting and heart candies and sprinkles were set out for the kids to make their creations. Sweet treats included  Mad for You Macarons, Be Mine Brownies, Kiss me Cake Pops and Cupid’s Cupcakes. The guests were sent home with a variety of Hug Me Heart Candies placed in a LOVE muslin favor bag. Scroll down to see the vendor credits.

LOVE the doilies around the milk glasses – that is a great idea. Wonderful use of the rustic colors and your cake plates are AWESOME. Where did you get them or did you make them?
