Year Of The Dragon Guest Dessert Feature

Chinese New Year is January 23rd this year. To celebrate The Year of the Dragon, Norene from Party Pinching created this dessert table. This table was a fabulous example of how to dress up store bought sweets and create a dessert table on a budget. The iconic images of Pandas and large scale flowers set the tone for the table. Sweet treats included panda cookies made from white chocolate covered Oreos, rice krispie treat dragons wrapped in strawberry Fruit by the Foot, and cupcakes with dragon toppers and fondant cherry blossoms. Norene also decorated fortune cookies, mandarin oranges and chinese takeout boxes with scrapbook paper and stickers. Very creative, Norene!
