Bella’s Brazilian Sweet Shop Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

This sweet shop dessert table was sent to us by Bia from Bia Sampaio Photography.  Her dessert table designing friend, Andrea from The Dessert Fairy, styled this table for the 3rd birthday of Bia’s daughter, Bella. Andrea wanted to showcase Bella’s unique and youthful style and, in addition, add a touch of Brazilian nostalgia as a toast to Bia. What she came up with was a kaleidoscope of color and delight. The sweet treats included many of the childhood sweets that Bia enjoyed as a child in Brazil including belijinho, manjar and bala de coco (coconut pudding) and brigaderio. Bia’s grandmother flew in from Brazil to recreate all of the desserts. The pretty pink cake was created by Bella’s dad and embellished with a free printable from The TomKat Studio. A crepe paper backdrop and over sized balloons were the perfect final touches to this sweet table.
