We’re studying the Ombre trend today. There is something about the monochromatic gradient of a single color that is outrageously chic. Ombre made a big comeback this year in fashion, especially after Prada launched its Ombre handbag collection. We’ve seen the Ombre movement move to the dessert and party styling world as well, and our favorite spotting is that gorgeous Maggie Austin Ombre cake above! If you can’t find Ombre party products out there, not to worry! Ombre has long been used in interiors and you can use items like the Anthropologie curtains for party decor like a linen or backdrop. Have you used Ombre in your designs? We would love to hear.

I absolutely love ombre! I made a blue ombre cake a few months back which I love, http://sockerrus.se/2011/07/20/blue-rainbow-cake/ and a purple ombre cake, http://sockerrus.se/category/recept/tartor-recept/.
Have a sweet day!
