Surf’s Up Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We received this beach party submission from Suz at Lace and bubbles. Since her son loves the water, she created a beach shack theme for his 5th birthday. The fishnet overlay and bamboo backdrop give this party a tropical feel. The little surfers were kept entertained with an enormous water slide and by playing games like water bomb and limbo. After they built up their appetites, they chowed down on fish n’ chips for lunch. The “Snack Shack” included surfboard cookies, sharkfin cupcakes, M&M shots and  fruit kebabs. Music by the Beach Boys set the relaxed atmosphere for both kids and adults alike. “Hang ten” and scroll down to see the vendor credits.

(da kine – Hawaiian slang for “the best” or “A1-prime-choice.”

It was the most relaxed kids party I’ve been to! With the Beach Boys playing in the background and all of Suz’s gorgeous details we bopped away in the afternoon shade while the kids had an awesome time. Thanks Suz xx
