Sweet Dreams Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

This party was sent to us by Ami and Anita of EyeCandy C’ville. They created this sleepover party for a little girl’s birthday party. Their inspiration came from colorful little fairy wands that Ami found at a local craft store. Once those were purchased, the rest of the party really started to come together!  The headboard came from a local thrift shop. After some sanding, priming, and a few coats of raspberry paint, it became the perfect backdrop for all of the nighttime treats. Anita created a 3-tier cake that included a petal tier, flowers, and a moon. Other sweet treats included “Nighty Night” brownie bites, “Lullaby” whoopie pies, “Moonlight” milkshakes and “Dream Sprinkle” cupcakes.  The bright labels attached to the wands were displayed in colorful mason jars filled with gumdrops.  We bet everyone had sweet dreams after this party!
