Veterans Day

By: Amy Atlas, in Amy's Latest

Thanksgiving is approaching quickly.  We know that we have so much to be thankful for. Today is Veteran’s Day in the states, a day when we pay tribute to those people who have risked their lives to protect our country. We are thankful for all of the freedoms we have living here and appreciate that the US Armed Forces protects those freedoms.  So today we say thank you. Thank you to those who continue to protect us and thank you to those who have protected us in the past.

  • Happy Veteran’s Day to one and all. 🙂
I want to express my deep appreciation to all servicemen, servicewomen who continue to serve this beautiful land of ours and for their families (who also sacrifice) to serving our country; all the sacrifices they make for our freedom: my heart if filled with joy & sadness at the same time.

And for all our veterans past & present who have SERVED & CONTINUE TO SERVE & have given up their lives, (my dad, USAF, my father in law, NAVY & cousins, ARMY)they not only served but had made America free, spread freedom and democracy in the world. THANK YOU. My prayers go out to all.

From the deepest recesses of our hearts, where love and gratitude resides, thank you and God Bless AMERICA! HAPPY VETERAN’S DAY, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ONE & ALL!

Armistice day in the uk. End of ww2. But I don’t approve of starting the post ‘thanksgiving is fast approaching’ this is too solemn a day to look forward to future celebrations.
