Sweet Love Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

We received this royal wedding submission from Lori at The Cakestress.  Not only did Lori style this table, she made all of the desserts. The five tier banana split cake was inspired by the Bride’s Amsale “Dahlia” Gown. One of the things that we loved about this table was how Lori found everyday items and transformed them into staging pieces. She purchased all of the frames from Ikea {and how great is the creative use of the macarons on the frames?}. The risers were made from wine bottle and gift boxes, and were wrapped in Mokuba ribbon. Sweet treats included macarons, meringue, red velvet cupcakes and rosette sugar cookies. This table would make Prince proud! Scroll down below for the vendor credits.

What a pretty table. The cake is stunning and I especially love the violet/gold macarons inside the picture frames…what a great idea!
    Thanks so much for sharing.

I HEART THE SIGNAGE!! Sweet Love looks so beautiful……. and the desserts look delicious!

  • Love it but am wondering how the macaroons and other desserts stay in place within the frames. Would love to know the secret 🙂

I have the same question as Emily. Are you supposed to eat the macarons or are they just for decor?

  • Rose

Love this, if the framed sweets are for decor it’s a mised opportunity, it would be a very sweet way of framing (sorry, weak pun) the desserts
