Nautical Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Ahoy! Betty of P&J by Design styled this party for her son Jake’s Christening. Betty employed Lindsey from mrbeancakes to create a custom invitation for the party using a navy, royal blue, and white palette. She used the invitation design to inspire the whole dessert table. Sweet treats included anchor cupcakes, cake pops and sailboat cookies from Cakes and Biscuits by Lisa, as well as a sailboat cake. Guests were given bonbonniere boxes filled with sugar almonds as a favor.  For a real bon voyage, the box also had a mother of pearl sailboat. Looks like every guest was his and her own captain at this party!
