Chic Luau Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We had a surprise snow storm on Saturday. While I love that first snow in the NYC, I’m already longing for the warm weather. This feature made us feel all sunny inside. Miriam from Glam Candies styled this party for a one year birthday party, but it would work well for an adult party as well. Hibiscus flowers gave the table a feminine, tropical feel. Cocktail parasol picks were used to create wreaths and add a vertical element to the colorful table. The nutter butter flip flop cookies are ridiculously cute. Other sweet treats included pineapple and chocolate coconut cake pops, kiwi lollipops, pink hibiscus cookies, aloha lei cupcakes, and chocolate covered oreo surfboard cookies set in edible brown sugar “sand”.  One cool feature that Miriam added was sorbet in ice molds. Guests were welcomed with aloha mini smoothies and received a copy of Kianna’s Kool beach tunes as a favor. Scroll down for the vendor credits.
