Pink Ribbon Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

These days, it is hard to find someone who has not been touched by breast cancer. We have been really moved by the amount of submissions we received in honor of breast cancer awareness month. This submission made us swoon. This shoot was styled by Linda from Harper Event Designs. The pink ribbon is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness and we loved the way Helen at Kiss My Cakes incorporated it into all of the sweets. The ribbon details on the desserts are terrific. There is a lot of pink in this table, but the contrasting hues make it work. Also, using a ribbon backdrop is very popular right now. For this table, it adds a touch of softness and it is particularly appropriate for the ribbon theme.  This table is soft and feminine and could easily work for a bridal or baby shower.
