Matryoshka Doll Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Do you remember playing with Matryoshka Dolls {also called Babushka dolls} when you were little?  I do.  My grandmother bought me one and I was so amazed each time I found yet another little wooden doll hidden inside a bigger one. How so many could fit in there was fascinating to me. It always brings me back to those memories when I see a Matryoshka Doll guest feature.  You may remember we featured this one about a year ago. Today, we’re featuring a darling new one from Chelsea of Eye Candy Events. Chelsea styled this table for her daughter’s birthday. Babushka was the nickname for Chelsea’s daughter when she was a baby and the perfect theme for this party.  The Matryoshka doll appeared on lots of Chelsea’s homemade sweets including the tiered cake, vanilla shortbread biscuits, strawberry and cream cupcakes, and the cake pops. Chelsea and her daughter made a handmade piñata, which the kids used for a”pin the smile on the babushka” game.  We love this feature!  Scroll down below to see the rest of the vendor credits.
