How fun is this table? It was created by Maria from Paper Candy in Australia for her son’s birthday. She loved the idea of having a monster themed birthday party but didn’t want to make it too scary. The kids feasted on monster fingers (cocktail sausages), Monster Fur (fairy Floss) and monster eyes (blueberries). Sweat treats included blue cupcake pops with edible monster images attached, green & blue coconut ice, monster coloured striped jelly and green truffles. Even the inside of that cute cake was green! the lil’ monsters were kept entertained with a craft station where the children were able to ‘adopt a monster’ and decorate their own felt creatures. There was also a cookie monster decorating station, where children were each given monster shaped cookies to decorate. It looks like they had a monster of a good time.

The cake is high-larious! I love it. And the little monsters remind me of Ugly Dolls. Too cute. Such a fun party!
Where can I get the monsters?
Hi Cesa,
I made the monsters myself using felt and soft toy stuffing – all of which can be purchased from your nearest craft store.
What type of monster decorations would you recommend using? Looks like stick on google eyes and some felt pieces.
Was wondering how you made the cake?
