Retirement Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

We always get the cutest boy parties from Spaceships and Laserbeams. When this submission popped up in our inbox from Stephanie, we were pleasantly surprised. After 25 years of service, Stephanie’s mother-in-law just retired from her job at the Canadian post office.  To honor her, Stephanie threw her a party inviting all of her close friends and family. We loved the props that Stephanie used on this table. Canadian stamps were framed behind the table and placed on the popcorn bags. Express post boxes were used as vessels as a way to pay tribute to her many years of loyalty. Stephanie also used her vintage plane cupcake liners as a subtle tribute to the air mail/par avion theme. Sweet treats included orange-basil cake, blueberry shortcake, chocolate-coconut cupcakes, blondies, coconut macaroons, lemon crackle cookies and mini apple pie. Maybe there is a feminine printable line in their future. Happy retirement Granny Mare. Scroll down for the vendor credits.
