Halloweekend Countdown Inspiration

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

As promised, we have another Halloweekend post to give you some inspiration. This table was sent to us by Michelle of Favor Box Bakery. It has the perfect balance of spook and sweet. Michelle wanted a theme that would be fun for the kids and elegant for the adults. She came up with the “Queen of Halloween” idea and built the party around that. We love the idea of bringing other colors into Halloween. I mean, orange and and black are great, but why not add some lilac or green to give it that elegant feel. The cupcakes were baked by Sinners Saints Sweets in two scrumptious flavors; Pumpkin Caramel Cream Cheese and Triple Chocolate Diva. Michelle creatively hung the cupcakes off of a tree!  Other sweets included caramel apples, chocolate covered pretzel rods or “magic wands”, witch hats, ghostly chocolate shortcakes (how cute are those guys?), Jello shooters with worms, a fantastic cauldron cake from Cake and Candy Specialties and cookies from Cookie XChange brewing Halloween Green. The theme was tied together with a Sweet Tooth Cemetery where guests could take home goodie bags of all different candies from Party City and Dylan’s Candy Bar as well as Favor Box Bakery Cupcake Mixes. This table is bootiful!
