Sweet Fairy Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Melissa and Kelly of Icing Designs sent us this enchanting fairy-themed party, which they created for two little birthday girls, Stella and Evelyn. “Sweet Fairy” invitations from their Etsy shop set the tone for the party. Evoking a magical woodland atmosphere, they made two gorgeous over-sized paper flowers to hang above the dessert table. They draped pink tulle from the flowers and positioned hand-cut butterflies amidst it. The tangled branch centerpiece featured more hand-cut butterflies, giving the table a whimsical look. Sweet treats included: pink chocolate-dipped Rice Krispie treats, mini cupcakes with pink roses piped on top, pink ruffle cookies, and cake pops dipped in pink chocolate, complete with mini fairy wings on the sticks. The little guests donned DIY fairy wings that sparkled and were tied on with pretty satin ribbon. What a sweet sight!
