Tiki Luau Guest Dessert Feature

We are loving the vibrant colors of this feature.  We are going to keep this one in our pocket for when it is freezing in NYC and we want to dream of surfing in the sun.  This party was designed by Gwynn of Gywnn Wasson Designs for a little boy’s first birthday.  Gwynn’s client wanted a Luau theme so she brought in surfboards and tiki heads to give it boyish charm. Gwynn used blue fabric to represent water and draped it over burlap which represented sand.  Colorful surfboards and a bamboo backdrop anchored the table.  Sweet treats included tiki head totem pole chocolate pretzel rods {brilliant!}, tiki head and surfboard cookies and hisbiscus lollipops. To bring the it all together, there was a beautiful tiki head cake, complete with bamboo fence (pirouette cookies), ocean swells and surfboards.  We think this party made a big splash!
