Pool Party Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Before we bid adieu to summer, we just had to post this party from photographer Kelly Anderson. Inspired by Loralee Lewis’ Sweetie Swim Cap paper collection, Kelly threw an outrageously fun pool party for her pre-school aged daughters and their families. Seriously, is there a better way to beat the summer heat than in the pool? With genius details like the basket of water balloons, squirt guns and a bubble dispenser for refilling bubble-blowers, this party is all about fun. Kelly also set up a photo booth (check it out here). We love all of the bright moments Kelly captured, from the swim cap-bedecked girls to the line of flip flops along the pool. On the menu: make-your-own snow cones, freeze pops, mini-banana splits, gummi pool sharks, individually wrapped PB&J sandwiches, and a variety of beverages. We think this party scored a ton of points on fun!
