Playful Puppy Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We received this submission from Michelle at Intrigue Design Studio (her blog is Crazy for Design) and thought it was too cute to pass up.  You may remember Michelle and her creative designs from the Sweet (Now ‘n Later) post that we featured at the beginning of the year.  Her new line is the Playful Puppy line.  We loved the creative sweets that Michelle made.  Expanding on the puppy theme, the treats were all puppy related such as cotton candy pillow stuffing, meringue bones, soft pretzel tug toys, and kibble cakes.  Some other cute details were the marshmallow paw prints that led away from the “tub” and the berry jello water bowls.  The cupcakes were placed in flower pots with a cookie flower on top and oreo cookie crumbles to be the dirt.  Michelle has the entire line in a girls version as well (see below) and you can purchase everything on her etsy site.

Holy Guacamole! This is “spot” on! We have 3 dogs, one a puppy, and I burst out laughing at the “pillow stuffing” (cotton candy) and the “water bowls” (berry jello). I just cleaned up a torn up dog bed yesterday, with the pillow stuffing all of the place! SO cute. Well done!
