Happy Ice Cream Sandwich Day! Visit Us at the CoolHaus Truck!

By: Amy Atlas, in Amy's Latest, Great Finds

Today is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.  To celebrate ice cream sandwiches today, we are going to be with the Coolhaus crew at the Highline {10th Avenue between 29th & 30th Streets} from 1-3pm!  We’ll be shooting one of our vlogs with them there today so if you come, you can be in it!

We’ll be in this truck…

CoolHaus will be serving a special “Amy Atlas” ice cream sandwich today!  Who wants to play a game?  Guess what flavor it is? Comment below if you want to guess.  Hint – it is a little salty and a little sweet and it is Amy’s favorite flavor combination.  It’s 90 and sunny in New York today and the perfect day for ice cream so we hope to see you there!

  • Hmm, salty and sweet?
I will have to guess Peanut butter cookies with a dark chocolate ice cream?

Personally I’m feeling something light and lemony.

    Have fun!

  • Hi Amy,
I would guess, Rocky Road Ice-cream with lots of nuts…

  • I’m going with peanut butter and chocolate! Yummo.. Funnily enough I haven’t had an ice cream sandwich in AGES, and today out of no where I was craving one. I sat down at the computer to read your blog while I was eating it (chocolate cookie with coffee ice cream) and saw it was National Ice cream day in America. Funny coincidence 😉 x Louisa

p.s have fun in that very cool truck.

Thanks for informing us about the holiday! After I read about the special day, I immediately called friends for an ice cream sandwich party. I made chocolate chip cookies with vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies with chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Yummy!!

Also, your salted chocolate cookie/peanut butter cookie with a chocolate molten ice cream sounds quite tasty… 🙂

  • OMG, these look so yummy. I would have to quess salted caramel as well.
