Wild Wild West Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We always get excited when we see a post from Sharnel Dollar Designs in Australia.  She never disappoints with her style.  For her own son William’s birthday, all of his friends saddled up their ponies for a Wild, Wild West party.  For a ranch-like vibe, Sharnel went all out with western props.  The saloon bar with swinging doors was the perfect entry for any cowboy’s party. Sharnel also brought in bales of hay, bandanas, horseshoes, cowboy hats, and horse carriages. We love how the bandana was styled around the milk jar to resemble a bandana around a cowboy’s neck.  The dessert table was a milk and cookie bar.  Cowboy hat cookies, whoopie pies, mini oreos served in pales, and Wild West Showdown chocolate bars were some of the items on the menu.  The little buckaroos enjoyed fun activities like sack races, straw bale treasure hunt, whip cracking demonstration, sharp shooting, animal farm and horse rides.  Any rowdy westerner would have “WANTED” to be at this showdown!
