Leanne from Sweet Style in Australia sent us this really creative table that she created for her daughter’s 2nd birthday. I love the kite, tree, and cloud background. Notice how Leanne kept the palette simple and clean, with white playing a big role. The dessert table included mini cheesecakes, panna cotta and macarons for the adults. There was also marshmallow pops, cookies and candy for the kids. The original cake was made by Jacki from Blissfully Sweet Cakes. The weather was perfect so both the kids and adults enjoyed a little kite flying during the party. So pretty, Leanne!
Since we’re talking about flying away today, we mentioned on our facebook page yesterday that the Amy Atlas/Sweet Designs crew is exploring a possible sweet trip down under. One of the reasons behind this possible trip is the influx of so many thoughtful emails from women in Australia mentioning that our business has inspired them to open up their own shop. Those emails really mean a lot to us! Since our get together with these party gals in New York, we’ve been wanting to meet more of you. Many of you responded to our facebook post yesterday, but it would be helpful if you could all fill out the mailing list here and write in the “How Did You Hear About Us” section “Australia“. We will then contact you all personally to open a dialogue about a possible trip. This is the very preliminary stages of planning and we’re not sure how soon we can get over there given the upcoming book, but we’d like to get the discussions moving. For those of you not down under, we’re hoping in the future that we’ll be able to fly away and have more Amy Atlas/Sweet Design trips on the road.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
