Pretty in Pink Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We received this perfectly pink submission from Kelsey Anderson.  Kelsey designed this party for her daughter who loves all things PINK and wanted a candy shoppe party (maybe with a little coaxing from MOM) for her birthday.  Her daughter’s birthday is the month after Easter so Kelsey was able to get a plethora of pastel candy. The FIVE layer cake alternated between pink and white so that it would look like candy stripes when cut into. Kelsey made that cake herself. The piping technique is incredible!  The pom poms add a whimsical touch to the cake. Kelsey also had readily available sweets on the table like pink hostess snowballs and cupcakes, as well as those easy-to-make frosted cookies that we often see in Costco.  The napkins, straws and 36 inch balloons were all purchased from Shop Sweet Lulu. So pretty and feminine.  By the way, Kelsey also took all the photography herself.  A woman of many talents.
