Pool Party Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

Oh, how I love poolside parties.  There is something so carefree and relaxing about them, right?  One of my favorite poolside parties that we did was the party we created here for a joint mother/son birthday party a couple of years ago. So when I saw this poolside submission from Rebekah at A Blissful Nest, it immediately took me back and I wanted to get into my car and head out east.

Rebekah created this table for a family get together that she had at her home in California.  The color palette of turquoise and yellow is so vibrant and refreshing. The chevron, dot, and diamond patterns marry beautifully together in this palette and can work well for both kid and adult parties.  Rebekah created printables like popcorn cones, rice crispy holders, cupcake wrappers and flip flop cupcake tags, drink covers, and flags.  Treats included lemon meringue pie, mini marzipan fruits, lemon cupcakes and jello pudding cups.

Now I can’t stop thinking about being poolside this morning.  After the brutal winter we had, I am going to enjoy this summer immensely. What are your plans this summer?
