Beautiful Rustic Pink Guest Dessert Feature

Today’s featured submission was sent to us by Linda of Call Me Cupcake from Sweden.  I think you all know by now that we get a lot of the “dessert table in a field idea submissions” and I’m not the biggest fan usually.  However, when I see something that is beautifully styled, I have to feature it.

Not only did Linda bake all the pretty desserts, but she also styled and photographed the shoot as well. This is not an easy task!  This table would be perfect for so many occasions, including a bridal shower to an afternoon lunch with “the girls”.  The soft, muted colors with the metallic accents gives the table a romantic vibe.  And, hello, how gorgeous is that cake?  The addition of just a perfectly bloomed peony makes this cake a star.  The inside of this meringue-frosted lemon cake {scroll down, you must!} was drizzled with homemade blueberry jam and lemon curd.  Makes you want to jump in and eat it, right?  Linda also made pretty peaked cupcakes, meringue, lemon and chocolate macaroons, and pink lemonade. Gorgeous!

very, very nice! can’t believe she baked, styled and shot this all! quite a feat! for some reason, in the last picture i like how she wrapped the twine around the carafe to hold the label that reads “pink lemonade”. creative!

Love the colors, very shabby chic! I made a cake just like this for my daughter’s birthday party and received so many compliments, ours was a barn-country theme. Thank you for your ideas!
