Pantone-Inspired Egg Contest Winner {Egg-Cellent Easter Inspiration} With Egg Fashion Show

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids, Swag

Scroll down to see an amazing {and very funny} mock fashion show with the alter-eggos of top fashionistas!

It is time to reveal the winner of our Pantone-Inspired Egg Contest!  When I initially thought of this contest, I envisioned that the eggs would be painted to look like pantone chips {like the mediums in the links here}.  It turns out there were many amazing interpretations for this contest.  Some contestants cut actual pantone or paint chips and used the chips as the medium for their creation, while there were others who used the pantone colors to inspire the palette for their Easter eggs.  All were egg-cellent, but I never would have contemplated this entry from Amy of Amy Miller Designs. We are DYING over how creative this is and she is our clear winner.  She really pushed the creative boundaries on this contest and that makes me so happy.   We’ll share some of the runners-up over the next few days.  In the meantime, let’s get to the details of this egg-citing submission!

Since the fashion and design world always takes cue from Pantone’s seasonal color collections, Amy decided to play that up with a fashion show.  The Fashion “house” was the “House of EggCellence by Eggy Miller” and the models were Easter eggs painted in this Spring’s hot Pantone colors Honeysuckle, Peapod, Blue Curacao, Beeswax, and Lavender.  Brilliant?!  It gets even better.  Scroll down to see how these l-eggy models strutted their stuff on the runway.  Some of the models wore Easter bonnets and all donned patterned shells and cinched belts.  The eggparel patterns for the season included florals, argyle, and dots. Fash-egg-istas in the front row included Egga Wintour of Yolk Magazine, Egg-shell Zoe (who said “I dye” to every collection), and Kim Eggdashian.  Amy even created an E Magazine with an egg-clusive on the collection.  Egg-ceptional entry, Amy!  Your colorful prize will be revealed soon!

This post was created exclusively for Amy Atlas Sweet Designs.  If you are re-posting this article or featuring this collection in any medium, you must link back to or mention both Amy Atlas Sweet Designs and Amy Miller.
