Virginia Party Part III

By: Amy Atlas, in Amy's Latest

You had a sneak peek of our dessert table for Alyson Fox and Diane Levine of Levine Fox Events.  Levine Fox is an event planning company based in Los Angeles and they brought us to Virginia for an unbelievable vintage toy party they created for one of their clients.  Levine Fox Events turned a simple country club into a complete toyland.  No stone was left unturned for this event. Since we were coming from New York, we arrived by van in Virginia the day before the event. It was incredible to see the magic unfold.  We have been involved in a lot of high end productions, but this one will stand out in my mind for a while.  What impressed me so much was how the Levine Fox Events team remained so calm and gracious during an extremely laborious installation.  Watch out for pictures of the magic they created on their blog. They also called in Charm City Cakes to make a fabulous cake so it was great to finally meet the Ace of Cakes gang!

A little bit about the design…Since the theme was vintage toyland, we had lots of vintage props created like vintage abc blocks, hot air balloons, and jax.  We also found fun vintage toys like a glider {which we hung} and old fashioned drums.  A harlequin pattern was used throughout the party and we brought that pattern into the dessert table.  We created custom vessel liners by placing harlequin paper on top of styrofoam dummies and then wrapping the styrofoam with ribbon.  Scroll down to see all of the fun desserts including ABC block rice crispy treats and vintage chocolate cars.  Enjoy!
