Rainbow Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

This rainbow birthday guest dessert feature from Suzi of Alannah Rose is absolutely precious.  You may remember Suzi’s daughter Alannah’s 5th birthday party last year when we featured it here.  Everything about this table brings out my inner six year old child.  When I was younger, I begged my parents for any unicorn and cloud satin mobile I could get my hands on.  There is something about rainbows, unicorns, and clouds that are so dreamy, especially for kids.

Rainbows are a big trend this year with dessert tables {everyone is doing rainbow cakes} and we receive a lot of submissions about them, but this one is so perfectly executed.  I love the sky-high rainbow yarn-strewn cake, rainbow candy cane cupcakes {genius – folks, that is the top of a candy cane on top of the cupcake}, bright rainbow bark, all of the creative goody bags, and the pretty rainbow pom garland in front of the table {see last picture}.  I also love the story of why Suzi picked the rainbow theme for Alannah.  Yes, it looks like Alannah’s dreams certainly came true at her rainbow party.  P.S. – Look at how much she has grown!  Very sweet, Suzi!
