Bunting Inspired Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Bunting garlands have been pretty popular for parties over the last few years.  This pink, silver and pearl pretty guest dessert feature by Chelsea {of Eye Candy and the Eye Candy Blog} in Melbourne has a design completely inspired by bunting garlands.  The party was a Sip ‘N See to celebrate the arrival of Chelsea’s second daughter, and Chelsea was inspired by the children’s nursery rhyme “Bye, Baby Bunting.”  Chelsea worked with Sarah of Style Me Gorgeous to create the fun bunting design on the chocolate wrappers and dessert tags.  Bunting also appeared on the fondant cupcakes {I adore how these look!} and the cake, as well as a paper bunting that Chelsea attached to the cakestand. Of course, Chelsea created a paper bunting above the table to anchor the display.

The yummy desserts included a white chocolate and raspberry layer cake, vanilla bean cupcakes, raspberry cream sugar cookies with fondant heart toppers, white chocolate covered Oreo cookie pops, sweet champagne cupcakes with swiss meringue icing, marshmallows, and fondant onesie cookies.  Chelsea served pink grapefruit mineral water in mini glass bottles for the younger guests and pink champagne for the older guests.  Very cute party, Chelsea!
