I have just come back from a much needed “staycation” with my family.  I wanted my first post of 2011 to be a big THANK YOU!  Thank you to all of the wonderful readers that have sent me their tables that have been Amy Atlas inspired. Thank you to all of the vendors that help us create the unique and beautiful tables.  Thank you to my incredible staff.  Lastly, thank you to the amazing people that I have had the opportunity to collaborate with and be inspired by.

2010 was an amazing year for Amy Atlas Events.  Looking at what we have in just the first quarter of 2011, I believe that this year will surpass 2010 on the excitement meter.  First and foremost, we will be working on our book.  That is our first priority and we can’t wait to share it with you next year.

Thank you, again for continuing to follow us, inspire us and allow us to do something that we love.  We wish you peace, health and prosperity in 2011.

PS – What are your resolutions for the New Year?  Please share in the comment box below!

  1. Amy, thanks for inspiring all of us everyday. You love what you do and do what you love! My resolution is to start saying no. It is actually a very hard thing, especially because friends are always asking for my help with various projects. But hopefully doing so will help me have more time to work on my own projects! 9. Happy New year Amy and team, I’ve also missed your posts lol Have been stalking to see when you would be back online. Can’t wait to see your book, hope I get to buy one once its released. Gorgeous dessert table above, I love the clean lines and colours.

My New years resolution for 2011 is to be selective in what I say yes to, last year I did everything that came my way, this year I want to be more selective and create less stress in the bargain (here’s hoping)
Also eat less cake, but I make that resolution every year and I never stick to it lol

    cheers,
    Leoni

  13. Love the champagne glasses with the “sparkler” pom poms in them. And the color palette is very fresh — perfect for starting off a new year!

  14. I love the red cake stand! Stunning!

  15. I have that same red cake stand! I got mine from Horchow – love them! This is wonderful. I love the champagne glasses… were those etched or bought as a set?

Happy New Year! I am resolving to live a more organized life!

    • Hi Teri! I love these cake-stands, the clear ruby red glass is just amazing! About the champagne glasses – I bought them as a set, just regular glasses and my brother did the numbered golden stickers.

      Happy New Year!

  16. Thank YOU so much, to you and your team, for your creative genius! You continue to inspire and delight, as well as share others’ work who do the same. Absolutely cannot WAIT for your book! Please tell me you’re doing a book tour shortly after release… and that you’ll come to Atlanta!
My resolution is to be on time… and by that I mean to appointments, etc., AND getting gifts to friends and family for b’days, etc. Fingers Crossed.
Best Wishes for another fabulous year.

  17. Hi Amy and Team,

Happy New Year and thanks so much for being such a big inspiration in my life. My resolution is “yes” to go ahead and take a chance and start my own business (have been doing cakes, cookies and cupcakes on the side in addition to a full-time teaching job)and launch Swee-T designer desserts for any occasion. Hope to make this my full-time job.
    Can’t wait for your book.
    Hugs and Kisses from Israel!

  18. very happy new year, Amy Atlas i admire you and all your work. I live in Monterrey Mexico, and i make some tables for friends and other people. You are an inspiration for me and my work. I hope this 2011 better than 2010 for you, me, and everybody!!!
    love Charo

  19. Absolutely beautiful! Those ornament cupcakes are so unique – never seen anything like that before.

As for my New Year’s resolution…I don’t usually make one, but since I have a wedding coming up in February, I’d say it’s eating better and working out even more than before to prepare for it!
