Chocolates Inspired by Wallpaper

By: Amy Atlas, in Great Finds

While at the NYC Chocolate show a few weeks ago, I found a fairly new chocolate company called Rogue Confections. Rogue combines two of my favorite things together – delicious chocolate {of course I tasted them} with beautiful patterns.  Their chocolates are also packaged beautifully and would make a lovely gift for the holidays.  Rogue specializes in vintage patterns and wallpapers, but they can also create custom-patterned chocolate.  You can peek around on their site, but I have to say their chocolates are much prettier in person so go ahead and order some now.

Speaking of chocolate, I’m meeting with the master of chocolate, “Mr. Chocolate” Jacques Torres this morning, and we’ll be making some special chocolate together.  Back soon with that and a fun trivia quiz about the famed chocolatier.

We bought some of these at the NYC Chocolate Show this month. They are gorgeous!!!

  • I bought some of their papers available on their site that you can put on cupcakes when I saw them at the One of a Kind Show last week. I can’t wait to use them. But I tried the chocolate samples which were delicious in addition to being beautiful. Thanks for sharing and soo jealous about you getting to meet Jacques Torres.

Really lovely, makes a nice gift. I would love getting this.

  • I have to say I hate wallpaper (and everything it represents) but these chocolates are gorgeous. Hopefully, since they are very European looking they taste as good as they look!

Ask Chef Torres how his back is doing…..I met him one Christmas season at the Radiologists! He’s very cute.

  • Wow! Too beautiful to eat!
