Sweet 16 Guest Dessert Table

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

So Thanksgiving is over and I thought I’d give you all some pretty pictures before we swing back into holiday mode.  Isn’t this guest feature from Jessica of Where My Heart Is from Brisbane darling?  This party was for Jessica’s daughter Paris’s sweet 16.  The tabletop and dessert table are so simple yet so lovely.  It has an anthropologie vibe.  Jessica balanced out both tables very well with a clean white background and small pops of color.  I love the vintage details like the chalkboard menu, the floral napkins, and the wispy floral arrangements. Scroll down to see all of the photos by Leanne Stamellos. Beautiful party!

PS – I was so consumed with holiday entertaining that I neglected to tell you all the Confetti Cakes book giveaway winner.  The winner is KGroovy. Elisa and I had chocolate cake with caramel ice cream and it was really good!  Congrats!

    The vintage typewriter…very clever!!

  • Très mignon! 🙂

  • I like everything you showed…but the typing idea is so gorgeous! Thank you…

  • Love the chalkboard graphic

  • Love the place card simplicity and perfection with the theme. Lovely.

We *almost* did the same typing idea for our wedding…sadly the typewriter was too far away – now we use it for notes!

  • Type-writer idea a great one. Would be curious to know what makes it “Parisian” in style ? Bunting and chintz napkins being very “Anglais” perhaps this is just my French point of view?

  • So happy to see my photography featured on your blog Amy … once again and previously for one of Sharnel Dollar’s parties. This was a wonderful party with so many details and the girls had a fantastic time.

Thank you linking my work to this feature.

  • Type a message was the best!!!!!!!

  • Amy thank you so much for featuring the party I did for Paris on your blog! I had so much fun combing through your wonderful blog for months looking for inspiration. I was so happy with the end result and so was Paris which was the most important part. Her friends were talking about it for weeks afterwards too. They loved the typewriter (most had never seen one :)).

This has really made my week, thanks!

  • This is so beautiful! I love the use of so many colors, yet it still has such an understated elegance.
