Apple-Inspired Guest Dessert Feature Part I

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

You are all in for a treat today.  The Caketress sent over these exclusive photos of an apple-inspired party she created for a 1 year old named Emerson.  Rebecca Wood, who is Emerson’s mom, took these incredible photos.  I’m breaking up the photos into 2 posts since there are so many gorgeous photos.  This post is for the dessert table and this afternoon I’ll post the party decor, which is equally as precious.  The dessert table included milk and egg cookies, mini cherry pies, candy apples, pumpkin cupcakes, cinnamon marshmallow, cream puffs, pumpkin caramel cake, cherry lollipops, and more!   I think the prop styling and desserts for this table are just perfect.  I love the vintage props including the 7up box, the aqua containers, and the red utensils.  And how fabulous is that sprinkle cake?  It reminds be of the good humor bars that I used to eat as a kid.  I also LOVE those milk and eggs cookies and all the lovely signage from Christine Flynn of Love the Design!  I’m sure that Emerson is the Apple of Rebecca’s eye!  Scroll down to see all of the photos because every single detail about this party is fantastic!  Fabulous job, ladies!!!   PS – don’t forget to come back for Part II later.  You will not want to miss it!

Love it. I love the cakestands. I would like to know where to get them. Would it be possible to find out ?

    • The Caketress

I actually D.I.Y the cake stands. I bought pedistal like candle holders and a plain white plate from the dollar store. Then painted the candle holder white and glue it to the plate. The cupcake stand was also construsted from chalk boards and baby blocks.
