I’m back today with our first vlog ever! Okay, a few things to keep in mind before we start…
#1 – We’re not production people so this is not our expertise so bear with us as we show you behind-the-scenes vlogs! Yes, the sound wasn’t great at points, but we’ll master that soon enough.
#2 – This was taken while propping around yesterday. We did this completely on a…

We’re busy bees working away at Amy Atlas Events today. We’re baking and crafting for a photo shoot, jamming out proposals, and editing our first ever vlog (don’t expect much – we’re amateurs on the video front). I’ll show some behind-the-scenes later today, but in the meantime I have a beautiful guest dessert table to share with you from Petite Bouches. Veronica of Petite Bouches emailed us to tell us that she was inspired…

I’m back with some behind-the-scenes at Amy Atlas Events. This morning, I had the chance to talk about throwing an ice cream party on Martha Stewart Radio. Last time I was on Martha Radio, it was a blizzard in NYC on Valentine’s Day and we were talking about chocolate hot cocoa. Today was all about ice cream. I know some of you are ice cream-ed out with our InStyle story and the toppings bar…

If you were here yesterday, then you saw the jaw-dropping vintage guest dessert table feature from Blair Britt Events. I’m back here today with Blair’s how-to of that beautiful ribbon backdrop. For this wedding, the bride wanted an eclectic ribbon, lace, and fabric backdrop, so Blair found lots of textures and colors that worked with their wedding style. However, you can use any kind of ribbon to make a stunning ribbon backdrop. Here is…

Blair Blair Britt Events sent over pictures of this vintage inspired guest dessert table and I knew immediately that I had to share it with you all. Blair created this table for a wedding she recently coordinated. The couple’s wedding had was infused with an anthropologie-esque style and the dessert table {and wedding style} was nothing short of spectacular. A few words from Blair…

In the meantime, here is a sneak peek of the guest feature from today, which is an insanely beautiful dessert table with an anthro-inspired vibe from Blair Britt Events . Come back, I promise you will be swooning…

Janelle & Samone of Cake Ink in Melbourne sent me pictures of this gorgeous Spanish themed dessert table, which they created for a newly engaged couple. Oh, how the people from down under have taken to our trend and executed it so beautifully time and time again! I have to say that it is really fun seeing different traditional candy/treats from all over the world. For example, the rock candy pictured here looks so…

Have you all heard of The Caketress? It is a boutique cake company based in Canada and they make some of the most fanciful, fashion couture cakes I’ve ever seen. Lori of The Caketress created an exclusive dessert bar shoot for us with some of her gorgeous cakes and it is stunning.
Since the model bride was wearing a Vera Wang lace ruffled wedding dress, Lori brought ruffles into the design {including a ruffled…

If you were here Wednesday and Thursday, then you already saw the sneak peeks of the banana split event we worked on with Kelly Ripa and Electrolux for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Above are pictures of the toppings bar we created for the event.
An ice cream/toppings bar is a really fun thing to do for summer entertaining. Since our ice cream story in InStyle,…
