Guest Dessert Table Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Shelley of How Does She? sent over these beautiful photos of a pink birthday bash for her twin girls first birthday. A few things I adore about this party…
(1) I love the color palette of pink, black and white. It is super girlie with a little edge and has a modern flair.
(2) Shelley’s paper crepe backdrop is darling and looks like it would be easy and inexpensive to make. You can use the technique here to create this backdrop. You can also use Hawaiian lei necklaces to create the same look.
(3) The coordinating smash cakes for her daughters’ first bite {or smash} into a cake was genius. Her girls will relish photos of those cakes one day.
(4) The cookies and striped favor bags are chic and fun. Those would have been a nice complement to the party we did here.

Check out the full details of the party here. Fantastic job, Shelley!
We have a jam-packed day today and weekend, but I’ll be back next week with a very fun vlog. Have a great weekend!
