Black Eyed Susan Inspired Guest Dessert Table

How lovely is this black-eyed susan set up from Amanda of I am Baker? It makes me want to set up a party outdoors right now. It is such a simple set up, yet it is so charming and beautiful. The gorgeous landscape certainly added to this picture perfect setting. If you are setting up a tablescape outdoors, let the landscape play a role in the design and keep it simple as Amanda did. I could stare at these pictures all day long. Amanda, I have a sunny smile on my face – great job!

  • Not only is Amanda very talented at setting the picture perfect setting but her cakes and cookies that are the subject of some ofher fantastic shoots are just as wonderful (you should see her photos of her children!). She is a sweetheart of a lady and I think it is wonderful that you highlighted her work here on your blog. Thank you.

As lovely as that table looks, here in Texas the desserts would be covered with flies within seconds. It might work in a more temperate climate with less insect life.

  • Perfectly lovely. I can just imagine a few friends gathering for a simple lunch in that beautiful setting, celebrating Jessi & Sean’s love (or wedding? engagement? birth?) 🙂 Regardless of the occasion, the photos and setup are so peaceful and intimate. Wonderful.
